The Physics of the Full swing
This is the video that my Phys. of Sports team created. Everyone did some of everything, but some more than others. The concepts we learned are about energy in motion and energy transferring. There are two different types of motion energy transfers. One is elastic, where all or most of the energy is transferred. The other is an Inelastic collision where the energy is shared and they go together. In the full swing, the collision starts off as a Inelastic collision but as the golf club stops contacting the ball it becomes a mostly elastic collision. Just like I stated before, Everyone did a bit of the work. I mostly did the voice acting and some of the editing. I learned during this project that I suck at voice acting. I used my IPad a lot, and wasn't very productive. I really had fun with this project, because it was with a really nice and funny group. I also enjoyed learning to edit and doing all that fun stuff. We had to go through several drafts of the video until we got one that was really good. Overall, I thought this project was somewhat uninteresting because I really dislike sports and I would have rather done the physics of something else.
